Mariah Carey has pushed back her latest album , Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel , to September 15th. That means Jay-Z and Cuddi now have new competition . To be frank , im not very excited about this AT ALL , i'm so on edge to hear her new stuff , and this is just a set back in my plans.

Mariah Carey is reported to be giving a performance of her hit single "Obsessed" on the August 8th edition of America's Got Talent.

Well the official music video for Mariah Careys new single ,Obsessed, has been released...somewhat.. online . I would post it here ,but all the video's keep getting removed so its not worth it.

as Soon as i can , i will update this post , with the video. Let me say this , the video is priceless , and unlike other songs , *Best i ever had* , it actually goes along GREAT with the concept of the song. So as soon as i can ill fill yah in.

Rumors have stated that Mariah Carey plans on releasing not one..but TWO music video's for her radio steamer "OBSESSED". One being the solo , and the other being the remix with non other then the hideously catchyy Gucci Mane.!

-Gucci Mane did an interview recently and this is what the "rapper" had to say.

"Shout-out to Mariah Carey and her whole squad and my boy Chris Lighty," Gucci said. "He got me and Mariah together. I appreciate it. He put me on there as well as her. Both of them are smart for doing that. The song came out hard. Mariah knew I wanted to do a song with her. It finally happened, and it turned out hard. I just flew up there to New York, went in the studio with her. I flew right out and went back on the road. When I do a song with people, I like to really get in the studio with them so I could feel they swag and they could feel mine. The music comes out better."

Obsessed By Mariah Carey ; Song Preview

Well i posted about Mariah Carey's diss track last week , well her first single "Obsessed", off the album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" dropped todayy , and may i say 

I LOVE IT. 

Omgahh it is so freaking catchyy , it took me a couple of listens to fully like it , but after the second listen i have been humming it all dayy ; I would post the song , but execs on Mariah's label have been deleting blogs and Facebook pages for doing so...and im not risking that ; if you want to find it i suggest you go to youtubee. But may i say its worthh the hunt.

Mrs.Cannon getting feisty.?

Well Super'Producer , and one of my favorite musicians and producers ,THE DREAM recently made a statement , about one of Mariah Carey's new single off of her new album. The single is entitled "Obsessed" , and is said to be a DISS track directed towards a certain person. Here is what THE DREAM , had to say 

-"The most anticipated project [for me is] the Mariah project, and she just released a fire record in the building today. And we have been blasting it out all day. It's just f**king retarded. I don't think anybody is going to expect her to come out punching like she is going to come out. But she got a record."

-"It's going to light the blogs up too because you don't know who she talking about, what she talking about, but she talking about something. And remember The-Dream told you first. So you can start that up right now. Mariah Carey has a record, and somebody's going to be very upset. I said that."

I for one CAN NOT WAIT , to hear her new album. Not only because Dream produced tracks on it , but because she seems to be getting the music thing back on track. I posted a snippet to her song "H.A.T.E U" on another one of my post so go to the archive and checkk it out. This album seems like its going to be FIRE. and im ALL HOT AND BOTHERED , waiting for it .

&' the high pitched scream of death lives on

While one cannot question her beauty or musical ability,  one can always debate over rather her cd's are hits OR misses. Her last album, E=MC2 , was good but not exactly what i wanted to hear , from a 30something year old...wait is she even 30still.? Anywayy  with her new ATTEMPT at Greatness , Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, she recaptures the spotlight she once had , and not some youthful pop bubblegum , that would have worked during her 2nd or 3rd album. For "Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel" , slated for a September relase, she has enlisted the help of Super producers The-Dream, Timbaland , Tricky , Jermaine Dupri , and Michael Cox , all of who have produced hit singles rather in there own right , or for other major artist. Mariah has said this cd will be about an alter ego she has created ,hmmm Sasha Feirce with a gallon of water anyone , to tell stories. I for one cannot wait til September to hear her cd. There have been several snippets for the "rumored" lead single of the new album entitled  "H.A.T.E U" , but i have yet to get my little grumey paws on it so as soon as i do , i will post an update to this post.
