Diamond updatee .

Sometime in may i posted about the whole Milian/Mari Diamond drama. Well i was cruising around and found some news on the whole thing. Well the latest is 

First of all is the situation with MySpace Records. Christina supposedly signed an "open deal" with the label, meaning that each party could pull out of the deal whenever they wanted to, which is what made it so easy for her to walk out and shack up with The-Dream and Radio Killa. Speaking of The Dream, supposedly the main reason that she signed with him was because she unhappy with the way that MySpace Records were handling her project, especially since the only promo they managed to get her for "Us Against The World" was a nice MySpace page and a few radio interviews.

Now as to why did she sign with MySpace in the first place? The part about "no labels wanting to touch Christina" is actually partly true, but there's a reason for it. You know that rumour about Christina not wanting to record Rihanna'sS.O.S? Supposedly L.A. Reid started that rumour to dirty her name after he dropped her, also telling anybody who would listen that she was "late to meetings", "rarely in the studio",and "refused to listen to anyone's opinions".

Last of all is the "Diamonds" drama, which is basically true. Christina was upset about Teairra Mari getting the song, but supposedly it was because it was one of her favorite tracks that she had done with MySpace records and she regretted not purchasing it before she left. Supposedly she was more upset with the whole situation of MySpace selling her old songs rather than the fact that Teairra recorded it.

Who knew that a Diamond could cause so much drama

Well im not sure if you all have heard , but bothh Teairra Mari &' Christina Milian have new cd's coming out.  Believe me when i say , they both are BANGERS. I have heard tracks from both , while one is apparently better with the assistance of there uhm...superstar MEGA boyfriend/husband/fiance/WHATEVER , they are both good in there own right. Well there's drama sorrounding one of the tracks that they both recorded. The tracks title is "Diamonds" &' it features the superb Kanye West. Well Christina Milian first recorded the track after Myspace Records signed her as a artist when she was dropped from Def Jam following her terrible "So Amazin' " album in 2006 . While signed with Myspace Records Milian began work on her new album entitled "Dream in Color" and she met The Dream , who quickly signed her under his label . This left Mysapce Records with a sour taste in their mouth , due to the fact that without little warning Milian signed with a new company. Well Myspace owned the recordings Milian did , and sold the song  [Diamonds] to Tiera Mari who quickly decided to rerecord the song &' leak it onto the internet. 

Milian gained wind of what had happened and since, along with assistance from her i guess you can say partner, The Dream, has been doing everything she can to make sure Teairra Mari NOT put the song out , let alone on her new cd "At That Point". The Dream has SUPPOSEDLY even went as far , as to make Kanye ,whose good friends with both Milian &' Kanye ,  hike up his prices to appear in the music video to WOPPING 200k.

anywayy , This left Mari baffled because she always considered Kanye and her cool , since they were on the same label together , but after she was dropped there relationship seemed to become different. 

well i personally am not torn on which version i like better. I am a huge Milian fan , &' i ADORE her version of Diamonds , while i cant knock Mari at all either. They are both amazing artist , but at this point , i just have a tip of the hat towards Christina Milian.
